A Few Words About Me

Hi, my name is Sandee McMillin. I live in Lee's Summit, MO, and I've been married for 42 years. I've been sewing and making quilts for the past 36 years. I love creating beautiful quilts that are meaningful and full of memories! My children are grown now, but when they graduated from high school, I put quilts together from their favorite t-shirts for them to take to college. They love them and like how comfy and soft they are.

I love making t-shirt quilts because each one is so personal to each person...it's full of the places they've been and people they have loved... It's their life. It's such a privilege to make something that is so special to them. I love their expression the first time they see their finished quilt! Also, this is a wonderful creative outlet for me. When my kids finished college and married, God gave me this business to bless others, and that blessing came back around to me as this helped me adjust to my empty nest. I am thankful because I love what I do!
